Our Story
Hi, I’m Muhammad Shakeel Khan, the founder of Merge ID Card.
This website started with a very ordinary problem. Almost everyone has been in this situation: a bank, a SIM shop, a university, a courier company or an employer asks for a copy of your ID card, and they want the front and back on one single page. It sounds simple, but in practice it never is.
You either open a photo editor and struggle with sizes, or you paste two pictures into a Word file and hope they line up, or you visit a random website that asks you to upload your CNIC, Aadhaar or Iqama to a server you know nothing about. That last option always bothered me the most. An ID card is one of the most sensitive documents you own. It carries your name, your number, your photo and your address. Handing it to an unknown service just to save a few minutes never felt right.
So I decided to build something better: a tool that does the job in seconds, produces a clean print-ready page, and never asks you to trust anyone with your document. Everything happens in your browser. The image you select stays on your phone or computer, and when you close the tab, it is gone.
What began as one small tool for merging ID cards has grown into a full set of free document tools, built around the same idea: simple, fast and private.
What Merge ID Card Does
The main tool lets you add the front side and the back side of your ID, preview the result, and download it as a JPG image, a PNG image or a PDF document. You can place the two sides one above the other (front above back) or next to each other (front on the left). The output follows the real card size, so when you print it, the card looks the way it should and not stretched or tiny.
There is no signup, no email requirement and no watermark on your merged ID. You open the page, add two photos, and download.

Protect, Resize and Convert
Merging is only the first step. Once you have your ID copy, there are a few more things you usually need to do with it. So we built these tools too.
ID Watermark
Sharing a copy of your ID carries a risk: someone can reuse it for something you never intended. A watermark such as "For bank account opening only, 30 Sep 2026" makes the copy much harder to misuse. You choose the text, and the tool places it on your image.

Sometimes a person only needs to see part of your card. Blur or cover sensitive areas, such as a number you do not want to show, before you share the image.
📐ID Resizer (CR80)
CR80 is the standard size of bank cards and most ID cards (about 85.6 mm by 54 mm). Resize your card image to that exact size for printing or laminating a copy.

Turn your ID images into a clean PDF, which many websites and email forms accept more easily than image files.

Our Privacy Promise
Privacy is not a feature we added later. It is the reason this website exists.
- Files never leave your device. Your images are processed locally in your browser. We do not upload them and we cannot see them.
- No signup. You do not need an account, a password or an email address to use any tool.
- No stored documents. We do not keep copies of your ID cards, because we never receive them.
- Clear policies. You can read exactly how the site works in our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Disclaimer pages.
A small practical tip: even with a private tool, be careful where you send a copy of your ID. Share it only with trusted organisations, and whenever possible add a watermark stating why the copy was given.

Why Keep It Free?
I believe basic document tools should be available to everyone, including people with slow phones and limited internet. That is why Merge ID Card is light, fast and works on mobile, tablet and desktop without installing any app.
To cover hosting and keep improving the tools, the website may show advertisements. Ads will never block the tool or get in the way of your work, and they will never be given access to your documents, because we do not have them.
Important Note
Merge ID Card is an independent website. We are not connected to any government department or ID issuing authority, including NADRA, UIDAI or any other official body. Our tools only arrange and edit images you provide. Whether a merged copy is accepted is decided by the organisation you submit it to. Please also use these tools only for your own documents or documents you have permission to handle.
